Julie Hersh From Lemonade to Lemons and Back
with Julie Hersh

Friday, September 10 at 8:00 am

Ritz Carlton

Julie Hersh is a mother, corporate wife survivor and advocate for mental health awareness. Her life story of "Making Lemons out of Lemonade and Back" traces her search for identity through her career, interfaith marriage, motherhood and clinical depression. With humor and brutal honesty, Hersh picks apart the irony of her life. Loving husband, healthy children, financial security and . . . she tries to kill herself three times.

In Julie's book, Struck by Living, she tells a story of true courage. After a long battle with clinical depression and three failed suicide attempts, Julie had the courage and support of family to undergo Electroconvulsive Therapy. She will share her story of struggle and triumph in a one hour breakfast. Julie will inspire you to learn more about depression; understanding its impact on those who face its daily challenges; and how you can help to remove the stigma of talking about it and seeking treatment that can save lives. We encourage you to visit www.struckbyliving.com to learn more about Julie and her book
